FAQ
What is included in tuition?
Your tuition covers the educational components required to successfully complete your training (and varies based on program, level, and cohort), including but not limited to: all scheduled training sessions (in-person and/or virtual), lifetime access to our online learning platform, digital training materials and student resources, training manuals and course handouts, live mentorship and faculty support, office hours and student support sessions, required practicum and observation experiences, final assessment and graduation requirements, and certificate of completion upon successful graduation. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, accessible learning with no hidden educational fees.
Please note: Tuition does not include required or recommended books, yoga mats, props (blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, etc.), travel expenses, lodging, meals, technology devices, internet access, or any additional personal supplies used during training.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We believe yoga teacher training should be accessible to people in all stages of life. We offer flexible payment plans that allow you to spread tuition over a series of monthly payments rather than paying the full balance upfront. Payment plans are a great option for students balancing family responsibilities, careers, school, or other financial commitments. Our team is happy to discuss available options and help you determine which plan best fits your budget.
Please note that payment plans are a convenience option and participating in a payment plan does not affect your training experience, student support, or graduation requirements.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place in the training. Because enrollment is limited to maintain a high-quality learning environment, your deposit secures your spot and helps us prepare materials, faculty schedules, and training resources for your cohort.
Your deposit is applied toward your total tuition balance and is not an additional fee.
When is tuition due in full?
Students may choose to pay in full or enroll in an approved payment plan. All tuition balances must be paid before certificates are issued and graduation requirements are finalized. If unexpected financial circumstances arise during the training, we encourage you to communicate with us as early as possible so we can explore available options.
Do you offer scholarships?
Yes. We are committed to making yoga teacher training more accessible and offer a limited number of scholarships and tuition assistance opportunities for each cohort. Scholarships may be awarded based on financial need, community service, leadership potential, or demonstrated commitment to bringing yoga and wellness into underserved communities.
Because scholarship funding is limited, we encourage interested applicants to apply early.
Receiving a scholarship does not impact your standing within the training. Scholarship recipients receive the same education, support, and certification as every other student.
Can I combine a scholarship with a payment plan?
Absolutely. Many students choose to combine a partial scholarship award with a monthly payment plan to further reduce financial barriers. Our goal is to support committed students in finding a realistic pathway to participation whenever possible.
Are there additional costs beyond tuition?
Yes, there may be some personal expenses beyond tuition. Students should anticipate purchasing:
- Required reading books
- Recommended reading books
- Personal yoga mat (otherwise, mats are available at the studio for in-person use)
- Yoga props (if practicing from home – otherwise, props are available at the studio for in-person use)
- Journal or notebook
- Printing costs, if desired
- Reliable internet access and technology for online coursework
- Travel, lodging, and meals for any in-person components
While we strive to keep additional expenses reasonable, students should budget for these items separately from tuition.
What is the refund policy?
The enrollment deposit is non-refundable. Refund policies for tuition payments are outlined in the Student Enrollment Agreement and vary depending on when a withdrawal request is submitted. Because our trainings involve advance planning, resource allocation, and faculty scheduling, refunds may decrease as the training start date approaches.
We encourage all prospective students to review the full refund policy before enrolling.
What happens if I need to withdraw from the program?
Life happens, and we understand that circumstances can change. If you need to withdraw, please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on your situation, we may be able to discuss options such as:
- Deferring to a future cohort
- Completing missed work at a later date
- Establishing a customized completion timeline
- Transferring eligible credits when appropriate
Every situation is reviewed individually.
